2 Packs Washable markers – Classic Colors (Crayola work the best)

Watercolor Paints

1 Tub disinfecting wipes

2 Black Expo Dry erase markers

1 box of Gallon size Zip-lock bags (slider bags if possible)

1 box of Quart size Zip-lock bags (slider bags if possible)

Family Picture

Reminder: All school supplies and your child’s clothing—jackets, mittens, boots,

Etc. need to be labeled with your child’s first and last name.

  First Grade
 

20 #2 pencils sharpened—No fancy/decorated pencils ormechanical pencils ( Dixon or Ticonderoga are best- avoid Roseart products)

Crayons – Crayola 24 to a box (no more!)

Markers – 1 box of 10 Crayola classic washable markers (thick)

1 box colored pencils—Crayola Twistables only

 

1 small, handheld pencil sharpener that catches shavings

 

Plain Pocket Folders with pockets on bottom, not sides,solid colored – 2 yellow (will be used as a take-home folder), 1 blue, 1 green, 1 red; no character folders please, no fasteners on inside

 

5 large washable glue sticks, Elmer’s brand

 

50 clear top loading sheet protectors     

 

2 post-it note pads 1 x 2 or 3 x 3 yellow     

 

1 roll scotch tape                       

 

Desk Cover at least 18 by 24 inches – plastic or oil cloth.

 

2 large pink erasers

 

1 red-ink pen

 

1 purple-ink pen

 

1 Old clean sock for whiteboard use

 

1 Expo low odor black dry erase marker, wide tip for white board use

 

Smock, old shirt, or suitable cover to wear while painting.

 

Scissors – Fiskars, metal, sharp point.

 

Watercolors – tray of 8 paints

 

Headphones for listening center use in a labeled gallon Ziploc bag

 

School Bag to carry papers home, large enough for books as well as shoes in winter

 

3 Boxes tissue (please bring only ONE box the first day and keep the others at home to bring when needed)

 

1 tub disinfecting wipes

 

2 boxes non-perishable, healthy snacks (crackers, raisins, cheerios, etc.; please bring ONE box the first day, a note will be sent home when other box is needed)

 

Please make card with bus number and driver to be worn during first weeks of school.

Please DO NOT label folders or supplies with student’s name. Most supplies will be shared in a community basket.  Please avoid Roseart supplies if possible.

*Note: First graders run out of glue quickly so you might want to get extra while there are sales. Another box of crayons and more pencils would be good to have at home, as well.
