**The only items that need to be labeled with your child’s name are those that are indicated in the list.  Please also label your child’s clothing with their first and last name – jackets, mittens, boots, etc.

  First Grade
 

  20 #2 pencils sharpened—No fancy/decorated pencils or mechanical pencils

1 zipper pencil case, not hard plastic please

Clear plastic bin with lid, approx. 10” wide x 3” high x 13” deep, no larger please as it needs to fit on top shelf of desk

Crayons – Crayola 24 or 48 to a box

Markers – 1 box of 10 Crayola classic washable markers (thick)

1 box colored pencils—Crayola Twistables only

Vinyl/Plastic-type Pocket Folders (these are not the coated/shiny paper folders; these will last all year) with pockets on bottom, not sides, solid colored – 1 yellow 1 blue, 1 green, 1 red

4 large washable glue sticks, Elmer’s brand

1 large bottle of Elmer’s School Glue (Black Label) 7.652 FL OZ

25 clear top loading sheet protectors     

Desk Cover at least 18 by 24 inches – plastic or oil cloth.

2 large pink erasers

1 small package cap erases to go on tops of pencils

1 red-ink pen

1 purple-ink pen

2 Old clean socks for whiteboard use

2 Expo low odor black dry erase markers, FINE TIP for white board use

Smock, old shirt, or suitable cover to wear while painting.

Scissors – Fiskars brand, metal, sharp point.

Watercolors – tray of 8 paints

School Bag to carry papers home, large enough for books as well as shoes in winter

3 Boxes tissue

2 tubs disinfecting wipes

1 Roll paper towel

***optional 1 pair of shoe-type slippers with backs (no oversized/animal type slippers, just ‘plain’ slippers)

Please make card with bus number and driver to be worn during first weeks of school.

Please label folders and supplies with student’s name.  Please avoid Roseart supplies if possible.

*Note: First graders run out of glue quickly so you might want to get extra while there are sales. Another box of crayons and more pencils would be good to have at home, as well.

  Second Grade
 

2 Two pocket folders (no Trapper Keeper folders please)

Several No. 2 lead pencils – regular size (no mechanical pencils please)

2 Large pencil erasers

2 Elmer’s School Glue – Black Label – Medium size (no paste or colored glue please)

1 Large Glue Stick

1 Bottle of Tacky Glue (can be found at craft stores)

Old shirt for painting

Oil cloth or plastic to cover desk while painting (18” x 24”)

Pencil box or pencil pouch – like small cigar box – there is not enough room for large boxes in the desks

Ruler with centimeter/millimeter and inch markings (12” long)

1 Wide lined spiral notebook

Scissors – Fiskars

Set of Magic Markers

3 Large boxes of tissues

150 sheets of wide lined loose leaf paper with holes

Math flashcards – Addition facts (0-12)

                           Subtraction facts (0-12)

3 Book covers (no stretchy covers; paper bags work well)

2 Red checking pens or pencils

Magic Markers – (broad lined)

1 Black permanent marker (Sharpie fine point works best)

1 Wooden Ruler – should have1/4 & 1/2 inches on one side and centimeters on the other

Crayons – box of 36
