My name is Maria Mariani and I am originally from Ishpeming, Michigan, located in the Upper Peninsula. I grew up with my mom, dad, younger sister, and our family dogs. After high school graduation, I attended Northern Michigan University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I taught kindergarten for seven years, before relocating to Wisconsin. This is my fourth year teaching at St. Mary’s and I love the faith filled environment and family involvement at our school. It is a true blessing to come to work each day at a place where everyone helps out and encourages one another. I see this among the staff and demonstrated by the students on a daily basis. In my free time, I enjoy taking walks, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
