About Me

Hello! My name is Roxie Zellner, and I am excited to serve as principal and phys ed teacher at St. Mary School. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, WI and my Master of Arts in educational leadership from Edgewood College in Madison, WI. I have been at St. Mary School for 32 years in various teaching positions before becoming principal 4 years ago.

Over the past 32 years, I have had the pleasure of working with many outstanding faculty and staff members, students, and parents, and I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. Being a part of the St. Mary community gives me the opportunity each year to work with a new group of students with unique personalities and ideas, which makes every day an adventure. I am truly blessed to be part of a great school community where I can positively impact many young lives by sharing my experiences, knowledge, and faith, helping them become lifelong learners and disciples of Christ.

I live in the Champion area with my husband, Lee, and our two dogs, Tootsie and my "baby girl", Sage. We have three grown sons and one grandson, Elijah.

Outside of school, I enjoy running/walking, photography, biking, hiking, kayaking, and trips to Washington Island.
