I have been part of the St. Mary School community for the last 31 years. I began my career at St. Mary's in 1993 as a substitute teacher and was hired for the 1994-95 school year as a kindergarten and music teacher. During my time at St. Mary School, I have taught Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and the related arts. This year, I began my second official year as principal.
Over the past 31 years, I have had the pleasure of working with many outstanding faculty and staff members, students, and parents, and I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. Being a part of the St. Mary community gives me the opportunity each year to work with a new group of students with unique personalities and ideas, which makes every day an adventure. I am truly blessed to be part of a great school community where I can positively impact many young lives by sharing my experiences, knowledge, and faith, helping them become lifelong learners and disciples of Christ.
I live in the Champion area with my husband, Lee, and our two dogs, Camo and my "baby girl", Sage. We have three grown sons, Zach, Tyler, and Brice, and one grandson, Elijah. I enjoy running (half-marathons are my favorite), photography, biking, hiking, kayaking, and trips to Washington Island.
